After saying goodbye to Andrew Williams, Nina Morrison walks forward blankly.
The world is so big and she feels so lonely.
There is a family of three pass on the roadside. A beautiful little girl with her father in her left hand, and her mother in her right hand, her head tied with a pink bow, smiling naively.
There is a roadside stall selling sugar gourd, the little girl stares at the big red sugar gourd with her bright big eyes. She shakes her mother's hand pleasingly, "Mommy, Lily wants to eat sugar gourd!"
"No! Too much sugar will decay your teeth." The mother quickens her steps, trying to pull the little girl forward.
The little girl turns her head to her father, "Daddy, Lily wants to eat sugar gourd."
Her tender child voice is so soft to melt a person's heart.
The father lifts the little girl above his head and let her ride on his shoulders, "No problem! Daddy will buy lily a sugar gourd!"
The mother stops in frustration and says, "Look at you, you would spoil her!"
Although it sounds like a reproach, the tone is full of happiness and warmth.
Nina Morrison looks at the happy family and her eyes moisten slightly. If only Nelson were really her son! In this big world, there would always be a care, a pair of little hands will hold her sleeves, love and trust her without reservation.
It seems like a huge hole in her heart. The wind would blow in to haps of her bones.
It is June, but Nina Morrison could not feel the warm at all.
She walks aimlessly along the busy street. Her shadow is lonely and deserted.
Just around the corner, Nina Morrison catches a glimpse of a black SUV with license plate C888. Nina Morrison's breathing chokes. There is only one license plate in Cagliari.
Trying to walk away quickly, but her feet like growing roots. There's a private club nearby owned by Lucien Gray. His car is here. So he must be in the club.
She hasn't seen Lucien Gray for days, and hasn't heard from Nelson.
If it's an encounter, she can just ask about Nelson's eyes. Nina Morrison uses this excuse to convince herself. The desire in her heart to see Lucien Gray is growing anxiously.
She wants to ask him if what Andrew says is true. Is his engagement to Jasmine Harris really just a delaying tactic?
Nina Morrison walks around the car for a moment, already attracting the attention of nearby security guards. The security guard stares at her as if she were some kind of car thief.
Nina Morrison is watched awkwardly by the security guard. There is a water bar nearby, so she goes in and orders a cup of tea, she sits by the window and drinks it slowly.
After drinking half cup of fruit tea, she sees a strong man come out from behind the palm trees of the club. He wears simple black T and jeans, but he looks like a shining star.
But next to him, there is a glamorous woman who looks vaguely familiar, as if she has been in a shampoo commercial.
The woman follows Lucien Gray toward the car, writhing her waist violently. She looks slutty and charming.
