Midnight

James Grayson's mobile phone rang.

He woke up, looked at Bella, who was sleeping peacefully, answered the phone, went out and asked, "What's the matter?"

"James, there is a problem. Are you at Bella's place now?" Sierra Walker asked anxiously.

"Yes. What's the matter?" James Grayson didn't understand.

"Go back to the military area. Someone from the Commission for Discipline Inspection will come to Bella's house to find you. If they find you sleeping with Bella, you can't explain anything."

"What's wrong with sleeping with Bella? She's my girlfriend." James Grayson was suspicious.

"Bella and David Wilson are not divorced at all. They set up a trap to hurt you. You should leave first." Sierra Walker said.

James Grayson couldn't believe that Bella can betray him, but he believed that Bella can be cheated by David. "I'm clean. I didn't do anything. I don't have to run away."

"James, please. It's a very crucial time. If something happens to you, your father, me, and our family, everyone will be finished. No one can help us." Sierra pleaded.

"Okay." James Grayson hung up and went back to the room.

Bella was also awake.

She looked at her face and asked anxiously, "What's the matter?"

"Discipline inspection team will come here to find me. My mother says you and David Wilson haven't divorced yet and asked me to leave this place."

"How is it possible? I divorced David Wilson." Bella was sure.

She took out the marriage certificate and divorce certificate from the cupboard and handed it to James Grayson.

James Grayson's face sank. "The stamp is fake."

"What?" Bella was shocked.

"Knock Knock." There was a knock at the door.

Bella has no time to ponder.

It has been proved that the marriage certificate and divorce certificate are fake, so James Grayson cannot stay here. If he will be caught here, his future will be ruined.

"Leave now." Bella opened the window in a hurry. She saw no one downstairs. James Grayson was a person who didn't panic during emergency. "I'll contact you later."

James Grayson jumped out of the window and slid down with the help of the water pipe.

Bella changed the bed sheet and pillow covers. She also changed her night suit and wore a new one. She was sure that James Grayson would handle other matters.

The door was opened.

Bella opened the door of her room and said sternly, "Who are you?"

The man came in and ordered seriously, "search everywhere."

"Where is your search warrant? If not, you're trespassing." Bella defended.

The man showed the warrant, "Miss Bella, please cooperate with us."

Bella looked at those people, they even checked the garbage can. She was glad that today they didn't use a condom. In the end, the inspection team went to the bathroom.

Their men did not find anyone in the room and shook their heads in front of the man in charge.

"Take away the quilt, window cover, bedsheets, and her clothes." The man in charge ordered.

"I need to change," Bella asked softly.

The man nodded, "giving you two minutes."

Bella took her clothes and went to the bathroom.

She was afraid to leave any evidence in her body. She opened the cupboard. Last time, Amelia William was attacked by Luis Taylor. She was afraid of getting sick and bought several bottles of this liquid for cleaning.

Bella quickly opened the bottle.

There was a knock on the door. "Come out, it's been three minutes."

"Wait." Bella used more than half of the bottle. She was almost done. She changed her clothes, washed the pants inside, and then put them in the basin, opened the door and went out.
