Bella sat on the sofa and waited for the news regarding James Grayson. She did not dare to sleep, she was afraid that if she fell asleep she will miss James Grayson's phone call. In fact, she couldn't sleep at all.

She was worried about James Grayson and couldn't breathe a sigh of relief.

Three days and three nights passed in a row.

She was exhausted and didn't want to eat. She crouched on the sofa and just looked at her cell phone.

Vivian Denzel was really helpless, "Bella, eat something and sleep for a while. I am awake. As soon as the chief calls, I'll tell you right away. If you fall ill, the chief will be distressed."

Bella quietly looked at the mobile phone and didn't utter a single word. Her eyes were empty and tired.

"In fact, if there is no bad news, it is in itself good news, right? Please eat something." Vivian Denzel crouched in front of Bella.

"There must be something wrong with James Grayson. Otherwise, he wouldn't have left me like this. He didn't contact me in three days." Bella said definitely.

In the last three days, they got no news, which was really unusual.

In fact, Vivian Denzel also thought that James Grayson had encountered an accident. "I think you should call the chief's parents. Chief's parents must have some news."

This sentence of Vivian Denzel showed Bella a way. There was a bright light in her dim eyes. She didn't want to be with James Grayson now. She just wanted James Grayson to be safe.

She called Sierra Walker.

Sierra Walker answered.

"Hello, this is Bella." Bella sat up nervously.

"Yes, I know." Sierra Walker's voice was very calm.

"I want to know if James Grayson is okay," Bella asked directly.

Sierra Walker was silent for a while.

"I just want to know if he's okay." Bella twisted her eyebrows. She was afraid that Sierra Walker would not tell her.

Sierra Walker took a deep breath, "He accomplished the mission brilliantly, annihilated the enemy and destroyed all the dangerous weapons of the enemy, but in the entanglement with the enemy, his brain got injured and fell into the sea. He desperately swims back but got drowned in the sea. He suffered prolonged hypoxia, and the condition is very serious."

Bella's eyes turned red and tears rolled down. She had a feeling that something was wrong with him.

"Is he out of danger now?" Bella asked chokingly.

If he died, she would not live.

"He is fine, but the brain has been damaged. He lost some memory. He doesn't remember a lot of things. I think he doesn't remember you anymore. Maybe it's a good opportunity for you. He has walked out of your life completely. You're safe. Between you and him, it's over." Sierra Walker said.

Bella, "..."

Her mind was blanked.

She felt as if she had been kicked out of heaven.

She had seen the most beautiful scenery of this world but now she was getting further and further away from it.

Is it luck, regret, reluctance, or her final outcome!

Sierra Walker hung up the phone, and Bella stood in the cold place as if she has lost her mind.

"Bella, what's the matter? You are scaring me." Vivian Denzel held Bella.

Bella pushed Vivian Denzel away and walked out of the room.

She didn't know where she wanted to go.

She just didn't want to stay in that room.

Vivian Denzel was worried about Bella. She followed Bella.

Bella walked unconsciously from dawn to dark and sat on the stone bench.

The moon was very bright tonight, and there were many stars.

She had a good dream, from nothing to James Grayson, hasn't she?

But eventually, people have to wake up from their dreams. In the end, they have to recognize the reality. If one didn't wake up, he would become a psychopath.

At Least... He is still alive.
