Hannah Clarke noticed the surprise in James Grayson's eyes.
As his eyes moved from Hannah Clarke's face to Amelia William's, he was even more shocked and his brow slightly twisted.
Hannah Clarke's heart was guilty, and she just lowered her eyes.
Amelia William pulled the corners of her mouth, covered her mouth, lowered her voice, and said to Hannah Clarke, "you and James Grayson are really predestined. Often meet each other."
"This place has been very popular in the past year. Many rich and powerful people come here to have fun. On weekends, the chance of meeting him is very high." Hannah Clarke's lips did not move, but she said this silently.
"Now will you go to say hello or not?" Amelia William asked. Obviously she was worried about Hannah Clarke.
"There are all his friends over there. To go there and say hello will make all of us feel strange. Let's take something to eat and try to sit away from them." Hannah Clarke said, seeing that James Grayson was still looking at her, nodded, pulled Amelia William away, and sat in the far-right corner.
"He must be curious now that how do I know you, and why we came here together." Amelia William said with a smile.
"As we planned, just calm down and I'll get something to eat." Hannah Clarke got up, went to the corner, and ordered a steak. She stood there and waited.
Behind him, the strong male breath approached. Hannah Clarke didn't need to look back. She knew who it was!
Her back was straight and she tried to calm herself down.
Amelia William was her friend. She will definitely meet her. James Grayson would know it sooner or later that she and Amelia William are friends.
But, she didn't expect it this earlier.
"What a coincidence." James Grayson said in a deep voice.
Hannah Clarke looked back, pretended to be surprised, smiled, and said respectfully, "Mr. Grayson, it's really a coincidence."
"The girl you came with is your friend?" James Grayson asked tentatively.
"Yeah, Amelia and I have a lot of luck. When I came to this city, she took care of me." Hannah Clarke did not deny it.
"She didn't introduce you to work?" James Grayson was suspicious and looked at Hannah Clarke.
"She asked me to be the nanny at her house, but I thought if I will have an employment relationship with the friendship, the friendship would deteriorate, so I refused." Hannah Clarke replied, looked at the chef, and deliberately shifted the topic, "I want the taste of black pepper."
"Yesterday..." James Grayson paused for a while, "I've drunk too much. Please don't pay attention to what I said." James Grayson explained.
Hannah Clarke raised a smile. "You identified the wrong person yesterday and called me Bella. I guess you were drunk and didn't mind. It's better to drink less wine. It has no good."
"Well." James Grayson answered and put the plate in front of the chef. "Filet mignon, thank you."
Both of them stood and waited without speaking.
Hannah Clarke can feel James Grayson's breath falling on her neck that made her feel very uneasy.
As people say, time crawls when one is wretched. Now she was minutes like spending hours, scratching her hair, exhaling a breath, looking left and right, no not let herself appear to have anything to do.
"How is your back injury now?" James Grayson said in a deep voice.
"That..." Hannah Clarke leered at James Grayson. "Yesterday I went back and used the eggs. The effect is good. Today it doesn't hurt anymore. Thank you for your concern."
"Your steak with black pepper is ready." The cook said.
"Oh, thank you." Hannah Clarke took up her plate and left impatiently. She perfunctorily said to James Grayson, "Mr. Grayson, I will leave now. I'm a little hungry. I didn't have breakfast, I'll eat first."
Hannah Clarke nodded and turned away without waiting for James Grayson's answer.
She saw that Amelia William had already taken a lot of dishes.
"I am quick." Amelia William said with a smile, "I haven't been out for a long time. I miss these delicious dishes."
Hannah Clarke was amused by Amelia William's lovely expression and sat down opposite her. "Hurry up, James Grayson is there. So I didn't ask for a piece for you. When he leaves, I'll go to the queue again. What kind of steak would you like?"
"I'll go and get it myself. I saw when you go there, James Grayson also stood up and goes there right away. What did he ask you?" Amelia William was worried.
"According to the prepared answers, I answered, I don't think there will be any problem, but today is our day. I don't want to affect my mood because of him. If we see him fishing, we'll ride a horse. If we see him riding a horse, we'll go fishing or singing and stay away." Hannah Clarke reminded.
"Sister enough, I didn't waste my life to save you. Cheers." Amelia William held up a red wine glass.
"You drove here today. Can you drink?" Hannah Clarke stopped her.
"We didn't leave directly after eating this meal. I will drink less, and I could excrete the alcohol in four hours. Now, I am happy. Come on, don't spoil it." Amelia William said carelessly and touched Hannah Clarke's red wine cup. She drank it all at once.
Hannah Clarke noticed something. "Amelia, do you have something in your mind?"
Amelia William smiled brightly. "What can I have in my mind? Luis Taylor went abroad today. I'm happy. He doesn't let me drink. He controls my movements. I'm not his pet. Even pets have the freedom to make friends. So when I'm not happy, I can shout a few times."
Hannah Clarke knew that Amelia William was unhappy. She held Amelia William's hand and said, "I'm sorry, I've got you involved."
"Why do you think you've got me involved? Five years ago, Luis Taylor designed it for me. You are the only consolation for me. I feel that I still have some value. Today, I will drink with my sister and won't go back until I am drunk." Amelia William poured herself a big cup, drank it, and was satisfied.
Hannah Clarke didn't dare to get drunk.
She has to take care of Amelia William.
If they both got drunk, who would manage them?
"Amelia, do you remember that we went camping together? At that time, Lara Myles and Brian Nighy were boyfriend-girlfriend. They showed their love in front of and just made a public display of affection." Hannah Clarke asked.
"I remember, two people were so in love with each other. Now I think of it and had goosebumps all over my body. I have heard that Brian Nighy left medicine and started his business, he found a woman, who was in her forties and fell in love with her.
Lara Myles was mad with anger. She aborted her child, which leads to infertility. The other woman, even in her forties gave birth to a son for Brian Nighy. Brian Nighy starts living with the other woman. Lara Myles still didn't take divorce. I feel speechless." Amelia William exclaimed.
"In a certain environment, anger leads to irrationality, unwillingness, and paranoia.
Lara Myles thought that if she was hurt, she would not divorce or give way to the woman who destroyed her family so that they would never be together in an honorable way.
She didn't think that she was wasting her youth, her life, and happiness because of her resentment and greater anger. This way, she will be unhappy all her life." Hannah Clark said.
Amelia William held Hannah Clarke's hand. "You used to be a psychiatrist. Are you hinting at me?"
"You used to be a psychiatrist?" All of a sudden, James Grayson's voice sounded.
