People shouldn't make big mistakes, otherwise, these big mistakes will always show their consequences at a certain stage of life.
For example, now, David Wilson was speechless. After all, it was true. That was the past that he wanted to erase the most.
He smiled embarrassingly and said, "I was young and frivolous. I didn't know how to cherish it and didn't regret it until I lost it."
"Is it?" Hannah Clarke stood up. "Then you should repent well, instead of hunting everywhere. Excuse me."
David Wilson's eyes moved with her body. He looked at her back. He wanted to say many things but his words choked in his throat.
"Haha." Amelia William laughed.
David Wilson looked at Amelia William displeasingly. "If everyone likes to gossip as much as you do, I'm afraid you can't live to the present."
"Let me correct you. It's not a gossip but to speak out for justice. I didn't talk to slander you. I talked about objective facts. OK?"
"It's also an objective fact that you follow the married Luis Taylor. It's also an objective fact that you have a child with no surname. If this matter is known by the president's wife or publicized to the public, you can guess what kind of consequences you will face." David Wilson said coldly.
Amelia William's smile congealed on her face.
What he said was the most shameless thing for her.
"Do you think I was willing to do so?" Amelia William looked at David Wilson.
"So I hope you can learn what to say and what not to say. Otherwise, next time, don't blame me for paying back people in their own way." David Wilson said turned around.
Amelia William pursed her lips tightly. Her teeth were itchy.
It's because there are so many dregs in the world that good men are especially precious.
She found Hannah Clarke standing in the corner. She was looking out of the window, thinking.
"David Wilson is really annoying." Amelia William complained.
Hannah Clarke was thinking, and her voice was low, "He has the ability to destroy anything he touches. Later try to avoid him as much as we can."
"Well." Amelia William responded and followed Hannah Clarke's line of sight.
An expensive Rolls Royce stopped in front of them. The driver with white gloves opened the car's door. He stepped out of the car and stood upright outside. It seemed that he noticed someone looking at him. He raised his head and looked up.
"Do you think James Grayson will meet us?" Amelia William questioned.
"I don't know." Hannah Clarke replied.
James Grayson took back his eyes and walked towards the hotel.
Hannah Clarke was still standing at the window.
"Shall we go in to avoid being seen by him? He will say that we peeked at him" Amelia William suggested.
"If we hide, it can let a person feel sedulous. Just ignore him." Hannah Clarke kept standing at the window.
James Grayson came out of the elevator, looked straight ahead, and walked into the reception hall without looking at them.
Amelia William was a little sad.
She told James Grayson that Hannah Clarke is Bella. He seemed more mean and ruthless than she imagined.
"James Grayson's eyes are on the top of his head. I told him..." Amelia William said in a hurry and almost her tongue slipped.
Hannah Clarke looked at Amelia William. "What did you tell him?"
Amelia William turned to Hannah Clarke and said, "I told him that you are very similar to Bella, as in voice, temper, and personality. But he still treated you like this. He is not worthy of you."
Hannah Clarke pulled the corners of her mouth, "Just because there are so many mutual views, he is more repulsive. James Grayson is not a person who can make friends with others. He has a strong sense of defense."
"It's better for you to find a new man you like to marry and have children and forget this James Grayson forever." Amelia William said angrily.
"Ok! Forget it. Is the auction about to begin?" Hannah Clarke asked, turning sideways and looking out of the door, almost everyone walked towards the meeting room.
"It should start soon." Amelia William looked at the elevator and frowned.
Well... Eric Jordan hasn't come yet!
"Who are you waiting for?" Hannah Clarke asked, looking at Amelia William.
"That Eric Jordan hasn't appeared yet. Won'the come?" Amelia William worried.
"Will Eric Jordan show up? Last time he had a pneumothorax. He should rest for three days. Moreover, he should not show up in such places because of asthma. There are too many people, too little space for air circulation, and too much pollen."
"Luis Taylor said he would come." Amelia William's voice dropped down. She saw the elevator opening and Eric Jordan, wearing a light blue suit coming towards them.
"Here he comes." Amelia William said cheerfully, holding Hannah Clarke's hand.
Hannah Clarke took a look at Amelia William and glanced at Eric Jordan.
Eric Jordan stared at Hannah Clarke, he smiled slightly, and his dark blue eyes made no secret of his delight in seeing her, "I didn't expect to meet you here. You said that the next time we meet, you'll give me the contact information."
Amelia William looked at Hannah Clarke excitedly but found that Hannah Clarke was still calm and indifferent.
"I'm curious to know why you risk your life to come here." Hannah Clarke asked in a cold tone.
"Here's one thing I want. My grandmother told me to have it for her." Eric Jordan explained.
"Your grandmother doesn't know about your health?" Hannah Clarke smiled, turned around, and walked towards the hall.
Amelia William looked at Eric Jordan and Hannah Clarke. She followed Hannah Clarke. "Don't we need to have his contact information?"
"Luis Taylor must have his contact information. If we can get the painting 'Dream girl' on our own, why should we know another person? If we can't get a picture, we will contact him. It won't be too late to get in touch with him." Hannah Clarke said calmly.
Amelia William pursed her lips and looked back in a regretful manner.
She expected Eric Jordan and Hannah Clarke to start. Hannah Clarke said that James Grayson had a strong sense of defense. But it seemed her sense of defense was even worse. It was estimated that she has built a steel wall.
They entered the meeting room, Amelia William registered with her ID card, binds her credit card, and signed.
They sat in the corner, in the last row.
David Wilson looked back and found Hannah Clarke. He got up from the first row and went to the last row. He sat next to Hannah Clarke. He smiled innocuously and looked at Hannah Clarke, "Is this seat saved?"
"Do you want to take this seat?" Hannah Clarke said.
"Yes." David Wilson didn't deny it.
Hannah Clarke smiled, "You came just in time. I want to sit in the first row. Unfortunately, my seat was occupied by you. Thank you for giving out the seat to me."
David Wilson, "..."
She took Amelia William with her, walked towards the first row, and sat in the original position of David Wilson.
Amelia William looked back at David Wilson, covered her mouth, and laughed, "Hannah, you are so amazing. Just look at David Wilson's face."
Hannah Clarke raised her eyebrows and thought, "It's really annoying to be surrounded by him. Perhaps..."
A thought flashed in Hannah Clarke's mind. There was a way, an idea flashed in her mind.
