When Tanya went to her flat she found five notes slipped under her door, Mandeep wantedto know:
Where are you? Call me.
You have obviously gone somewhere. Call me when you return.
Call me...Urgent!
Will visit again tomorrow.
Met your parents, they don't know where you are.
She called Mandeep, told him to come on over. He arrived in a shiny new Honda City."Well, well...A new car I see. Have you robbed another bank?"
"I didn't need to, it's a long story I'll tell you one day."
"I have all day - so tell me."
And so he told her.
"Oh wow! So you are filthy rich now and will get richer when she conceives,""Yes, and you can keep that bank money...gratis."
"What does that mean... you are not serious?"
"Yes I am; keep the money. Just tell me how you pulled off that stunt in the armored truck?""I told you never to ever bring that up - NEVER." She shouted belligerently, her eyes lookeddemonical.
"Okay, sorry." He took a step back. That was scary. Perhaps he should leave now; he was notcomfortable in her company anymore. He took a last look at her deep breasts and waved a 'good-bye'with one hand over his head as he departed.
The wedding went off smoothly: it was a small gathering of close friends. Tanya's parentsattended and Sameer saw they looked older and quite frail now. The suit her father wore hung loose onhis frame and mother dear, looked diminutive. During the ceremony they had tears in their eyes; theywere losing their only daughter to Sameer- though Sameer is a good lad they assured each othernodding and holding hands.
At the end and after the guests had been fed and fare-welled, Tanyatook her father to her roomand put a lack of rupees in his hands. He looked up with admiration in his eyes he was proud of her."We didn't know you earned so well, bete, what exactly do you do?""I am an 'Events Manager'", she lied, "it pays well. We'll come and visit you every two days orso; ring me if you need anything."
